We all play a role in reducing waste and recycling where possible. Newtown Skip Hire's state of the art MRF (material recovery facility) equipment allows us to recycle on average more than 95% of all waste brought in.
This is well above current government targets. We always ensure anything we can't recycle is handled correctly.

Grab & Load
Your waste is loaded into the MRF, ready to be processed.

The Drum
It is then sent into a large hopper before moving to the Trommel, a large rotating drum which helps separate waste.
03.
Final Stages
The Trommel should leave brick and rubble, along with some items of misc. waste. A large blower fan blasts lightweight waste off the conveyor, into a container. Any remaining waste is manually sorted, with magnets separating any ferrous metals.
04.
Sorted waste
Brick and concrete is crushed to be used as aggregate. Wood can be repurposed for chipboard, whilst metals are recycled to create new materials. Paper and card is recycled, and soil is repurposed for a range of landscaping jobs.

We can supply 6F5 crushed brick hardcore 75mm down to dust. Ideal for bulk fill or a capping layer.
Our portable crushers and screening equipment are available for rent or contract crushing. We can supply labour and manage the task.
